My name is Jessica Felts. I was born in 1993, and raised in the rural Northern Michigan town of Mio. I have always had a passion for beautifully designed and developed websites, as well as user-friendly technology, as well as most other aspects of our ever increasingly digital lives.
In 2011, I moved from my small hometown, to the Metro Detroit area, where I currently reside. From 2012 to 2015, I indulged my love for cars, and worked as a test driver and infotainment systems evaluator for Roush. It was a fun ride, and helped me realize my true passion lies with computers and electronics, and specifically with the public- and user-facing aspects technology.
In 2014, I was fortunate enough to begin an internship with Lyons Consulting Group in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which lasted 18-months. During that time, I worked extensively with various high-end eCommerce clients, developing for the front-end, as well as completing myriad of content management work.
In 2015, I was approached by a family friend to help her manage a webinar she was creating for middle aged women going through a career change. This sparked my interest in solopreneurship, and lead me to take on additional clients from around the United States, and throughout the world.
In June of 2016, my internship with Lyons Consulting Group came to an end, and I have since been working full time on nurturing my business. In doing so, I have realized how much I miss working as part of a team, and specifically working on web development, and have decided to reenter the workforce as a front-end developer.
I am currently available for work, and am open to any/all positions.
